It’s not just about ‘smelling pistakes’!

Poor grammar, inconsistencies and errors in your otherwise carefully-crafted copy can cause the reader to:

  • Grimace
  • Switch off
  • Misunderstand
  • Dismiss you

It’s not just a question of spelling mistakes – although sadly you’ll see plenty of these in marketing material, despite the ubiquitous spellchecker (which, incidentally, is useful but FAR from reliable). Quite simply, poorly-worded copy and ‘typos’ can ruin your reputation, destroy your marketing and cost you thousands of pounds in re-print costs. At best, someone will tell you. At worst they’ll tell Terry Wogan, Graham Norton or The Times!
